Offering our people leading training and career progression is important to Hungry Jack's. That's why in 2010 we kick-started our very own College of Executive Development – an annual, national program for selected managers.

Offering our people leading training and career progression is important to Hungry Jack's. That's why in 2010 we kick-started our very own College of Executive Development – an annual, national program for selected managers.

The 12-month program provides 10 to 12 selected managers formal qualifications and all-important mentoring by senior executives to enhance the skills of our future business leaders. Graduating students receive a nationally recognised Diploma of Management.

To kick-start the program, all students are flown to Sydney for a three-day session, focusing on leadership and participating in mentoring sessions with business leaders from both inside and outside Hungry Jack's.

We're proud of the fact that so many of our best managers started their careers at crew level. What we have found is that through working in Hungry Jack's restaurants, our employees develop practical managerial skills yet often lack a formal classroom education.

The Hungry Jack's College of Executive Developmentprogram bridges this gap and equips our future business leaders with the skills and knowledge needed to better themselves as individuals and further improve their restaurants, regions and, in turn, better serve our customers.

The College of Executive Development is open to district managers and multi-unit managers. There is a multi-staged process where each applicant is asked to tell us what they would like to learn and take away from the program, as well as their goals and business objectives. Following this written application, a shortlist of applicants is invited to a panel interview where the successful students are selected.
