Hungry Jack's Young Endeavour Program is a scholarship available to employees across Australia. It exists to thank our employees for the huge contribution they make to our business.

Open to all young crew members, two annual winners set sail on one of the most incredible voyages – 11 days at sea working on a tall ship under the guidance of an experienced crew.

They gain some incredible skills for life – leadership, teamwork and communication. Combine that with learning how to navigate, take command and keep watch and we have a highly sought after program.

Each year, more than 3,000 crew members between the ages of 16 and 24 apply to experience life aboard the Young Endeavour, with all expenses covered by Hungry Jack's.

Last year's scholarship winners, John Uspensky from the Algester restaurant in Queensland and Nadine Cooper from Wangaratta in Victoria, were thrilled to be chosen as the Young Endeavour Program participants for 2013.

 “Being on the Young Endeavour was truly a once in a lifetime experience that I hope everyone can do. Yes you will be sick, yes you will miss home, yes you will have bad days on the ship and feel overwhelmed, but learning to sail a tall ship, being out of your comfort zone, meeting amazing people and having the satisfaction that you can do something so far out of reach will outweigh any bad experience you will have.”
